Hotel Fazenda Santa Monica - Louveira [Rating]

April 17th, 2012 by Alexander & Paula No comments »

The Hotel Fazenda Santa Monica, located in the city of Louveira and has great location, very close to big cities like Campinas, Sao Paulo and Jundiaí. Yet go prepared to spend all their time inside the hotel as the city of Louveira is not what we call a tourist town. Only during the period in which the city performs the Grape Festival, usually in the first half, we can find some attraction outside the hotel.

Inside the hotel, our first unpleasant surprise was related to the standard room, which apart from being small to accommodate two adults and two children, needed repairs on their windows and doors, he smelled the smoke. With this we had to do an "upgrade" to a Deluxe Room, which was only 10% more expensive than the Standard, but offered a much greater comfort. Besides providing more space between beds, luxury apartment had a good closet, the oil heater and a bathroom more appropriate than option offered by the Standard.

The restaurant was a special attraction, the food was always varied and of good quality in any of the three meals offered and one afternoon snack. The restaurant area was large enough to accommodate all guests. Next to the restaurant had a bar with pool table and electronic games, plus a stage where the attractions occurring group of monitors.

Time to Stay: A maximum of three days;

Suitable for: Couples with children;

Distance from main attractions: The city has no great attractions;

Pros:

- Good restaurant;

- Nicely located near the main attractions of the hotel and yet far enough from the noise.

- Good location. Close to major cities in the region, Campinas, Sao Paulo and Jundiaí.

- Good Kitchen Baby;

Cons:

- Monitoring Team good, but uncompromising. Small children went away very easily from the group.

- Standard Rooms, very bad;

- Do not accept any type of card, as payment;

- Few horses available;

The town of Aguas de Sao Pedro is considered a tourist resort, which offers hot springs and therapeutic. With mild climate, pleasant walks and good trade for shopping, the city attracts many guests from the city of São Paulo in search of calm and tranquility of the inner city. Good restaurants are available to guests, including restaurant school Senac starry group that is inside the Grand Hotel San Pedro and is open to the public.

As to the Water Gate Hotel, despite its good location, the hotel falls short in many questions. The food does not attract the attention of the guest not to be very refined in its preparation. Inside the hotel locomotion is hampered by the large number of flights of stairs and an elevator that does not pass security to the guest. In the rest of the room is spacious for a family of four, with little luggage space and a bathroom median.

September 8th, 2011 by Alexander & Paula No comments »

Recently the city of Socorro has been trying to change his image of spa tourism and shopping, for a city which in addition also offers extreme adventures, in order to attract guests and young adolescents. But unlike Brotas - SP , it still has a long way to go in an attempt to change his image. This left the attractions to the city's hotels, cater only to children and adults in the third age, the type of guest of the town.

The Grinberg's Village Hotel, has enough attractions for those who are not interested in walking out of the hotel. The rooms are comfortable for a family of four and their play area has attractions for all tastes. Being located in the field winding and the pavement outside their area be made with cobblestones, walking locomotion is compromised for guests with infants and elderly people with mobility difficulties and restrictions. The hotel offers cabins that hold up to two families who are close to the leisure facilities and restaurant, facilitating locomotion. Since the apartments are more distant and in some cases even have flights of stairs to reach them.

Recommended for: couples with children under 10 years of age and elderly adults;

Stay Time: A weekend;

Distance from main attractions: Near the center of Socorro;

- Large rooms;

- Spacious bathroom;

September 6th, 2011 by Alexander & Paula No comments »

The Hotel Pousada was the first venture of the Warm River Resort complex, so their facilities were not among the most comfortable and modern complex, but a recent reform solved the problem. Today it can be regarded as the best choice of accommodation, along with the Hotel Turismo.

All finished in stone and arranged to form the bed of a river, are the pools of the complex that share the waters with higher temperatures, some reaching 38 º C, as in "Well of the Governor." Since the pools of hot water park Park, being arranged at the bottom of the complex, present at lower temperatures and in some cases, pools with temperature.

Country Hotel Barrie - Barrie - [Rating]

July 30th, 2011 by Alexander & Paula No comments »

Unfortunately the expectations were high in relation to Barry Country Hotel. Often compared with the best quality, Thermas Olympia Resort and Inn the Hot River, the hotel left much to be desired. Be in rooms with little privacy and too much noise outside, the restaurant with little variety and flavor of foods or poorly in the water park with few options, heated pool and attractions that are no match for its competitors above. The cost benefit is not worth it, even in the VIP wing with modern rooms and newly opened. For the same value VIP Room, you can stay in Bourbon Atibaia Spa Resort , which even if it is not a spa hotel, has a system of attractions all inclusive and far superior to the Barrie Country Hotel.

Recommended for: couples with children who like music and hinterland;

Stay Time: A weekend;

Distance from main attractions: Annex to the water park of the same name, near the city of Barrie and the grounds of the famous festival of the pedestrian city, which occurs in August;

Pros:

- Proximity to the water park;

- Wide variety of rooms, from the most rustic to the more refined;

- Varied entertainment for children (mini-farm tours, horse and buggy);

- Size of the room;

- Box type beds;

- Good Kitchen Baby;

Cons:

- Charming Ranch Horseshoe with little privacy because of the wooden walls;

- Chalet hot during the day and cold at night, due to the liner vents;

- No children's menu options;

- Restaurant and food with little variety unattractive;

- Constant external noise due to proximity to highway and airport;

- Water park with few heated pools;

Barequeçaba Beach Hotel - San Sebastian - [Rating]

December 23rd, 2010 by Alexander & Paula No comments »

In Barequeçaba Beach Hotel, most of the rooms are small, accommodating with some effort a couple and two children, have little room for luggage and a small bathroom, except the room number 23, which also has a good amount of spacious closets for luggage, a bathroom suitable for a family and split air conditioners. I believe that sometime in the past that room was reserved for use by hotel owners.

The restaurant is an attraction in itself, offers dishes generous and pleasant taste, if you are staying at another hotel on this beach, it's worth one last try for the restaurant which is open to the public.

But the biggest fault of the hotel is not on the premises, but outside, the beach. Was not enough sand dark and hard, bad for children's games, the residents of neighboring condominiums do not care for the cleanliness and safety, leaving cars and dogs roaming freely through the strip of sand. The calm sea, which could make the joy of many children, and give reassurance to parents, is constantly dirty, with debris from the São Sebastião channel or rubbish left by the residents themselves.

A good alternative to the beach is your neighbor Barequeçaba Guaecá with sea a little stronger, but with a softer sand for kids and more clean and safe for visitors.

Suitable for: Couples with children;

Time of stay: Up to four days;

Distance from main attractions: Walking on the sand near the center of São Sebastião and Ilhabela ferryboat that takes;

Pros:

- Hotel standing in the sand;

- Excellent restaurant;

- The charisma of the owners gives the hotel a very familiar air;

- Good location;

Cons:

- Simple rooms;

- Rubbish webpage does not work in most browsers;

- Price salty Christmas package;

- Beach with many dogs;

- Cars passing by the beach;

- Beach with hard sand;

- Unfit for sea bath after a period of season;

Kehdi Plaza Hotel - Barry - [Rating]

May 22nd, 2010 by Alexander & Paula No comments »

The hotel is not suitable for holiday periods, especially with children, only for those traveling to work. The plants are modest enough to stay with a proportional a minimum of comfort. Suitable for: People who travel to work;

Time of stay: The minimum required;

Distance from main attractions: During the month of August there is the famous Cowboy Festival of Barrie;

Pros:

- Located near the city center;

New Cambury Hotel - San Sebastian [Rating]

December 25th, 2009 by Alexander & Paula 2 comments »

The beach of Cambridge has a large stretch of sand and soft, its waters are rough and suitable for surfing. In the summer the public that attends is composed of young people in search of buzz and hype, unlike Camburizinho nearby beach, which is more geared towards families.

The hotel is far from the beach to be called a walk-in-sand, the same problem occurs with your neighbor the inn Villa Camboa , walk a lot to get to the beach. Since trade is at a distance more appropriate for evening walks feirinhas by restaurants and handicraft.

The Christmas dinner was a surprise party. Were served typical food from home, with a good variety of dishes, and desserts refreshing for the hot weather of the season. Each family was presented with a bottle of wine and the children received their gifts from the hands of Santa Claus himself.

Suitable for: Couples with or without children;

Time of stay: up to four days;

Distance from main attractions: 100 meters from the beach and centrinho of Cambridge;

Pros:

- Close to good restaurants in Cambridge;

- Good pool;

- Bathroom with little space;

- Monitors with little animation;

Salvetti Beach Hotel - San Sebastian [Rating]

December 22nd, 2009 by Alexander & Paula No comments »

The hotel is located in a less promising from the beaches of San Sebastian, on the border with Boracéia Bertioga. We have the impression that the beach is frequented by bathers who wish to spend only the day (aka "farofeiros") or sometimes even make use of the campsites that are on the side of Bertioga, but when we got the impression the place changes, because it is a very large beach and next to Saint Sebastian is less frequented by tourists, this makes the environment pleasant for couples with children because it is broad, sparsely attended and the children are always within sight. On the other hand, is not common to have "ice cream" around. Because it is a Guarani Indian reservation, the housing boom was restrained and the natural beauty were maintained. The beach has a large expanse of hard sand and clean, with little slope, ideal for children and hiking. Although it is an open beach, the waters are calm and shallow.

As for the hotel, the room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was good, but lost some points in privacy, because the door was frosted glass. The pool was big and very comfortable chairs. For children there was an attentive group of monitors and a good playground. The restaurant was an attraction in itself, at times could be compared to the best restaurants, served as a breakfast in the morning five-star standard, dishes worthy of a chef and a wood oven pizza with a delicious, at other times fall in the quality serving portions of fish left to be desired and snacks that were not worth the price charged. Yet the balance was positive.

Suitable for: Couples with children;

Time of stay: Up to four days;

Distance from main attractions: Located at 100 meters from the beach;

Pros:

- Beach very suitable for children;

-Good Restaurant;

Infrastructure-for children and Recreation Area;

Cons:

-To reach the beach you must cross the Rio-Santos highway on foot;

-Bathroom with little privacy;

-The restaurant does not have room service, you order by phone and go up there to get the dish;
